Converting from Fahrenheit to Celsius is very easy. All you need to know is the formula for conversion which I will state below.

Formula for Converting from Fahrenheit (°F) to Celsius (°C),

The temperature T in degrees Celsius (°C) is equal to the temperature T in degrees Fahrenheit (°F) minus 32, times 5/9:

T_(°C) = (T_(°F) - 32) / 1.8

Convert 100 Fahrenheit to Celsius i.e 100 degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius:

T_(°C) = (100°F - 32) / 1.8

= 68 /1.8 = 37.8 °C
